So what if say the Mario Lego game is a success then? So now we get a new game with Mario in it every few years instead of making something new. It just seems like you want Nintendo to have exclusives just to have them. What person who isnt interested in Mario games will buy a Switch to play Lego Mario? The people who will buy Lego Mario are probably mostly Nintendo fans that love Mario. So we get that instead of a new cool IP. I just dont get the argument for this. |
I don't want Nintendo to make games for the sake of making games. But the more games we have, the better, that is true for every platform. Not every game can be, or has to be, a system seller.
Once again, I'm just surprised that this kind of crossover hasn't happened as of yet, considering how easy and profitable it could be. If I had to choose between having a new IP from Nintendo, or 3rd parties like GTA or Persona on the Switch over a Nintendo Lego game, I would choose the former, but I don't really know why hasn't it happened as of yet.
