Yearly releases that have both a Nintendo mobile and home console version won't be possible anymore.

Nintendo can use sequels to replace it's mobile/home repeats ie Mario Kart 9/10 whereas EA would have to release FIFA 17 Summer and FIFA 17 Winter or increase the price to make up for lost sales.

DLC can't make up the difference. Even if the DLC was priced the same as the mobile version, it would still need a 50%+ attach ratio for the same revenue.

It depends on how much overlap there is. If none of those people bought a game for more than one system, it wouldn't matter as long as they get a Switch and buy the next iteration of the game.

Yeah, hard to imagine a lot of people buying annual sports games for several platforms.

The fact that it stops at Fifa 2013 should tell you something...

Yeah I'm sure EA will be happy to have any sales at all on a Nintendo platform at this point.

Still, hurting EAs annual releases would be another good reason to buy a Switch.

Or... you could hurt their annual releases by ummmm... not buying them?

I can certainly understand. Neither Fifa nor Madden have sold a SINGLE copy on the Switch.

What a disaster.

I'm pretty sure after the Wii U launched they complained to Nintendo and said they wanted to be bundled with their next console.

I don't think it's very nice to wish someone less sales or to even encourage people to hurt someone.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Yup, EA is not happy how EA games perform on Switch until now. :D
