Answer is no... ( Unless Nintendo changes its mind or has an ace up on its sleeve )

That's why the dramatical production reduction in 2016 and the premature discontinuation... Nintendo doesn't want any wii u on the shelves after switch launch, exactly to avoid what you asked... The would like to continue wii u after releasing  switch, if they were able/eager to slash wii u price!

I wouldn't mind Nintendo going "Fuck you, we're suing your asses for billions of dollars!" right now.
There is zero fucking respect from these retailers. This glorification of leaks really grinds my gears...

That would be a very reasonable price when you consider you are getting both a new handheld and a home console, I mean then after you get your new Nintendo machines for 100 each and software is effectively halved in cost, it's the ultimate version of cross buy or Microsofts " play anywhere " model.

Could see this being day one for me.

Maybe they got a good deal from Nvidia? Also we know that the chips behind it are very modern, but not powerful.

$300 is the real cost.

Like XBox 360 Tard Pak and Wii U Basic, very few people will buy the $250 SKU, Nintendo likely won't even make many of that model.

This is how companies get away with a "lower price", they know most people are not going to buy that model.

Switch w/Splatoon Remix + 64GB storage is the standard Switch SKU and that will be $299.99 most likely.
