£200 seems to be the mark here in the UK, seems the best price for it. So $250 seems likely for US.

I doubt that, perhaps since many rumors reported it before the Switch reveal Nintendo indeed managed to get an astonishingly good deal with Nvidia due to them beeing their only way to get sales from the Console market. that beeing said 250$ isn't THAT surprising if you think Wii U's hardware is sold at 300$ only due its poor sales and terrible architecture...

I hope that Nintendo made a good deal with Nvidia. The last time they made console hardware they almost destroyed the Xbox Brand.

True but usualy when we get leaks it's because websites publish the real date instead of a placeholder then edit it back to a placeholder after a few minutes where as Gameseek have straigh out made a news article saying:

"You may already be aware that we have strived to be the cheapest place to purchase video games for years, and we have now slashed the prices down even further on consoles at GameSeek, offering you even more savings on Xbox One, PS4, 3DS and the upcoming Nintendo Switch.

To help us celebrate our new initiative, we've opened pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch at just £198.50."

From the site ""With our Pre-order Price Guarantee, you can order now and if the GameSeek price increases between the time you place your order and the release date, you'll be charged the lower price""

They must of had some sort of confirmaion from Nintendo to do that as they are making a pre-order price promise on the orders so they wouldn't take orders if it was actually going cost more than £199 as they would just loose all the profit in it.

When multiple rumours point to the same info, it gains a lot of strenght. Doesn't make it confirmed, though. Only Nintendo can do that.

Priced the same as the Wii 10 years ago. This is a fantastic price. 249 is the new 199. This is going to sell very well.

That is funny since there are sooo many things that can't be taken into the consideration right now.

How powerful is the device? How is the battery life? How much flash memory will the $250 model have? Does it come with a game? Which accessories are included? How expensive are the accessories that aren't included? Will the Switch have a subscription model for online? Will there be cross-buy or at least a price reduction for VC games, 3DS and Wii U games that you already bought digitally for another Nintendo system?...
