It's either CoD or Skyrim.  Skyrim had insane hype with Gamestop's core consumer base.

Does anyone know how much did XY and ORAS sell first week anyway? Keeping in mind XY had worldwide release but ORAS like Sun/Moon has everyone except Europe released first then Europe a week later.

Keep in mind that this doesn't really mean that it's the best selling game though, it just means that of games which people are likely to buy physically it's the highest, so it shouldn't be that much of a surprise because you know that Santa's around the world will be going into gamestops to buy copies of this game to put under the tree for their kids, that same sale just doesn't happen with Modern Warfare which no doubt had a ton more people buying it digitally this year than having to put up with their local gamestops in the hopes of getting a copy.

Thats certainly impressive.I think its fair to say that it will do at least 3 million FW in the US.Maybe even more.

I doubt what your saying is all there as the game has been out less than a week.

 

  • Pokemon Sun and Moon are the best-performing games for GameStop all year; preorders for the game were the highest for any game at GameStop in five years.
Its saying best performing so its doing very well but my point for your post is are you sure parents are buying these games already? I mean 5 days and most people do there shopping during dec (as we will see the numbers) for their kids.
I guess im trying to say is i think its not parents buyimg for the kids at least thos first week. Also digital might be high for this game specially as it was a download pre order.

I dont think 3mil will be for fw. If its that high then the game will be over 4mil in Nov. That would mean at least 5mil SOLD in 2016 US only.... But that would be awesome if true.
