That would make sense I guess if Zelda is at launch who will buy the third party games, Release Splatoon and Mario kart .5 versions and a 3D Mario at launch and then let some third parties get sales and show that they do sell on Nintendo platforms and then 3 months later drop the Zelda bomb which will sell well no matter when it launches.

That's roughly 3 months after the speculated launch date only a few days less, I think if true this would be the first 2 top tier first party games come with in the first 3 months of any Nintendo platform, if the pricing rumours are true that's a lot of potential momentum in the first 3 months.

MK8, Splatoon and Galaxy 2 are games that also launched around that time.

I don't plan on getting a Switch until the holidays at the earliest so as long as it comes out in 2017 I'm good.

Technically it wouldn't even be a delay because the game never had an specific release date, only "2017".

Anyway, that date is good I'd say (if true). Hopefully the Wii U version comes out the same day as the Switch version so we don't have to see curl-6 and pavolink endlessly complaining :P

I don't see why not, it was a very well made and well received game, a technical show stopper at the time, as well as the genesis of a beloved franchise.
