I think the real story here is that Nintendo demo'd the Switch behind closed doors at E3 this year.

And no leak was made?! That is quite impressive.

You're kidding, right?

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

SNES Doom and Doom 64 is at least a given.

They don't own Doom SNES or Doom 64.  Those were produced under another company.  I don't know if they could release or remaster them.

I doubt any mobile games will show up on the Switch.  And for remakers, I would bet money on an Oblivion remake before a Morrowind remake.  Oblivion will be easier to remaster, has more similar gameplay to Skyrim, and has a larger fanbase already there as well as more potential to grab Skryim fans.

Morrowind is also the most beloved entry in the franchise. Better believe I would eat that shit up.

It's nice that after 15 years Nintendo realized some outreach is a good thing, but I can't help but think this is too little, too late.

This is a game that's 5 years old on ... 5 other platforms already? I don't see it selling well at all, and then we'll see what his tune is.

We heard lots of execs gushing about the Wii U and 3DS in the early days too, and most of them bailed out.

Nintendo needed to be building these relationships like a decade ago so they could build a foundation for an audience, because they haven't this audience is now entrenched with a Playstation or XBox and I don't see that changing, especially these days where people are locked into online infastructures (ie: if you change platforms you lose the ability to play with your friends who also have bought a PS4/XB1 to play with you, as also parodied on South Park).

TBF, Minecraft is selling very good on Wii U, so I can see Skyrim doing respectable numbers just by name. It could have been better if Nintendo bundled the game and even more with a BotW copie, and having soon more similar games available like DQXI, FFXV and Dark Souls 3.

Huge difference is that we actually never heard anything similar about any Nintendo platform from Bethesda or we had any bigger Bethesda game for any Nintendo platform from SNES.

No way that Nintendo will bundle Zelda BotW (at least not on launch of game), because they are very aware that Zelda BotW will sell millions of copies with price point of $60 outside bundle too.

This is very encouraging, Bethesda is big hard core 3rd party developer and they actually didn't had any significant game for Nintendo platform from SNES.

I looking forward to see what they have for Switch beyond Skyrim.

Double post.

Home Alone and Where's Waldo - Carry on please, don't wanna remember those games, thanks for supporting back to Nintendo tho.

Honestly don't send a letter to THQ Nordic for re-releasing these two games for VC or NES Classic Mini 2nd....

Don't you dare-!!

Definitely a great sign, and a complete 180 from what someone at Bethesda's marketing sector said about the Wii U and Nintendo's communication a few years ago. I would also hope Nintendo's done this with other 3rd party developers too. But yeah, we shall see!
