Yeah. Those poor internet nerds who bough the Wii U. Let's release them the same games over and over. In any case, what's the worse that can happen? Sell half of the Wii U?

Even still, Zorg has a point. Sony pretty much got a free pass for PS4 ports of The Last of Us and God of War 3.

They didn't. Ask sony fans and see how much people complained.

I think many could say the WiiU was dead at launch. Its easy to say 3-4 years later.

If WiiU had sold 100m, 80m or even 60m then I would understand criticism for making a bunch of remasters at launch. But since WiiU sold like 13m the crazy thing would be not to make them, they weren't that crazy this time. The thing is, the line-up of new games coming in the first year is already years light from WiiU: mainline Mario + mainline Zelda (BoTW) + mainline Pokemon (Stars) + mainline Pikmin makes it already a superior first year.

I for one enjoyed the crap out of my Wii U and have no problem getting some of the same games again as GOTY editions with all DLC included. I skipped over a whole lot of those side missions in Xenoblade Chronicles X and would love to get a Switch version to do all the things I skipped on the first playthrough. Just look at its awesomeness.
