Forums - Nintendo - Xenoblade X port, Beyond Good&Evil for Switch leaks & more

Not really much reason to be excited about except mario and zelda it seems for Wii U owners.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Switch is what Wii U should have been. Wii U is like a slap in the face looking at it now. If they are just going to port the whole damned library to Switch why did I have to suffer with Wii U and its lack of 3rd party? Not cool Nintendo.

Ports of WiiU games make a lot of sense - will it make Nintendo sense?

This is all of the titles she personally knows off, not every game coming to Switch in year 1.

Have you not seen what some of the Wii Us years have been like? It wouldn`t surprise me 1 bit if this is all the Switch gets in the first year.

Kind of away from the point. You're treating the list as if its detailing every game coming to Switch in year one, its all of the games Laura personally knows off and there are confirmed titles from EA and other publishers which are not listed.

Not so much for non-Wii U owners either, if you consider that non-Wii U owners didn't want to buy the console for Splatoon, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Xenoblade, Mario Maker.... If those games weren't enough to push people to buy the Wii U, it shouldn't be that much different for their ports on another console.

If Switch fails and only a subset of wii u owners buy it then its not going to be very appealing or necessary to buy a lot of these games.

Many of these updates are clearly aimed at a userbase who didn't own a wii u before, lets just hope there are some.

I always doubt those kind of lists, and this time it's not different.

Please excuse my bad English.

Your post doesn't make any sense, without Wii U we wouldnt had Wii U games also.

That's not exactly same thing, despite some great games Wii U was platfrom without future (basically from 2nd year, when was obvious that will be fail) and with short life and small number of games, Switch on other hand is brand new console with hole life itself and plenty of new games in future, with totally different concept (hybrid), with remasters of best Wii U games and some great new games.

I say plenty of comments of people who didn't had Wii U and planning to buy Switch, saying they hope for more Wii U ports/remasters. You can bet that Switch with great remasters of great games will be much more attractive console for people who didnt had Wii U (for them they are basicly new games), same like PS4 with The Last Of US, Uncharted Collection, God Of War...was more attractive console for all people who didn't had PS3.

Ill be the first to admit:For a non Wii U owner, this first year line up looks excellent(Im also assuming that there are still some big and dmall games to be announced). But for a Wii U owner, this lineup range from decent to good, depending on how good 3D Mario, Pikmin and the Mario RPG is.

But all in all, we havent had such a solid first year/launch window is a long while.

Tottaly agree.

That might be true, but remember all the problems the WiiU had too. The Switch is a (probably) cheaper console, more powerful than the U, that has practically  the best of what the WiiU had to offer from the beginning. At least as a day one purchase, the Switch looks way better, compared to the WiiU and its long-ass droughts. That said, we will need to see if the console gets the basic multiplats (CoD, FIFA, Madden, PES, AC...).

You know it deserves the GOTY.
