In my opinion the Xbox One S > The PS4 Slim in design and value as a console, so the remodel definitely helped. Also people pre ordered the PS4 Pro which is just the best bang for 399,- if you are buying a console and plan or own a 4k television.

Anyway, originalle the Xbox One looked uglier then the PS4 launch model, and offered no benefits over the competitor except some exclusive games.

Over the years Microsoft has added some things to improve this value proposition. They added the support for external hard drives, making it no big deal to own a 500GB model and options to really improve the loading speed in games by using a 7200RPM drive or SSHD/SSD

They also added backwards compatability, which in many games gives people the best experience of last generation games like mass effect, red dead redemption, Lost Oddesey, Fable and more.

Add the Xbox One S sexy model, with no power brick, and UHD support and I can deffenitely see why the Xbox isn't doing as bad as it did on launch. Microsoft has just been adding value.

They swayed me ass well, I still have a big X360 collection and next year when the Scorpio releases the Xbox will become my main platform again, and on launch there was no doubt I would never buy an xbox one, because the PS4 was just presented and launched so so much better.

Whats the current yearly sales in UK, USA and AUS of the PS4 vs the XBO.

Yes I'll correct you, the baseline PS3 was 500 at launch not 600. But sure enough from what we know it was the 600 that sold better.

You may skip the fact that PS3 dropping BC and selling better still because of price reduction isn't a proof that most don't care about BC, but how will you ignore that X1 after adding BC haven't seem a spike in sales to prove how useful it was seem? Even more when we had the first statistics showing how little the function was used.

Maybe the One S is better. The total package is better one the One S?! Graphic is not everything...

i think the bad marketing at the beginning dont interest the people no more, and some groups of people now see that the Xone has some important exclusives that the ps4 is missing (racing/Shooters) like halo Gow4 and Forza series, so the xone s only was the i touch to change systems.

Two of my friends for example changed in the last month and their opinion was that the ps4 dont have a good racing game or good exclusive shooters, and they dont trust Sony that gt sport will be good or that the game release next year. After they went to gamestop the traded in their ps4 with all games and one get the 500Gb Fifa bundle Xone s with Forza 6, Halo 5 and Bf1. The other buyed the Green 1 Tb Bf1 Bundle and get Horizon 3 with it.
So Now they have the good exclusives and all the 3rd party support they need.

I think Ms has the Momentum Now because of an exellent exclusive Line Up with Gears 4, Halo 5, Quantum Break, Forza6, Horizon 3, Halo Mcc, Sunset Overdrive or Ryse Son of Rome and others people see it now.
Some will say that you can play some games on the pc but this dont interest a 30 year old worker who dont have enough time to play how he want to.

The other side is the technical part where normal (casuals) dont see a diffrence betwenn 900 p upscaled to 1080p or 1080 p native

Its cheaper.... MS has done alot of good deals.

PS4pro moved sales from the months leading up to its launch, to now.

November PS4 takes back the sales lead in the US NPD.

i dont think so in nov it will be a race head by head because of ps4 pro.

So we are on a site which is about sales of videogame consoles and we are talking about this consoles sales because we saw that The XOne in the last four months (since July) sold better than ps4 in Usa,Canada, United kindom, Australia, New Zealand and dont forget that the Xone is market Leader in South and middle America by 75%.

So i think your Problem is that the thread is about XOne is selling better than ps4 in a lot of parts for a long time and that destroys your world!

Why is it outselling it in 3 countries*

Anyway, probably people waiting for PS4 Pro
