After Yakuza Zero, Gravity Rush ect - the next game in January: Digimon World Next Order.

The release is 31. january for PS4 in the usa and europe :)

Cyber Sleuth's combat system was pretty good..... not sure why they choose to go a differnt direction.

My expectations for Digimon World Next Order are very low.

Because the Story and the World series are different from each other.

Still looks very dated on PS4 but hopefully the Switch means the end of games built for the PSVita's weak specs.

Because this is going Digimon World style, Cyber Sleuth goes for Digimon World 2 style.
Stilll waiting for them to freaking give me another one like Digimon World 3... *sigh*

The three Digimon game released in NA that are not Digimon World Championship are similar to DW 2003. Similar to pokemon too.

I enjoy DW games but I'm kind of worried about the dual raising system, DW raising was already pretty meticulous. I'll get it either way though, so I'll have a game to play on valentines instead of P5.

The only Digimon games similar to 3/2003 are some DS games, which sadly have Digimon World 2 battle system, not 3/2003.

There isn't a single game just like Digimon World 3/2003 out there.

I forgot the DS part in my post lol.

Digimon world DS/dawn/dusk have similar gameplay to 2003 iirc, it just lacks the open worldmap. It still has the 3 on 3 turn based battle system and added a more complex digivolution tree. What features from 2003 lacks in these ?

The DW3 battle system sucked!  DW3 was rushed to the market at the height of Digimon's popular. The battle system was built in a week! It was suppose to be totally different. Why exactly would you want that to return?
