Well, I guess I'm part of that >5%, because I own a Wii U but I currently have no plans to get a Switch.
But of course, I'm not a Nintendo fan, I just play their games.

I'm not saying you're not a Nintendo fan if you don't want the Switch, I'm just saying I can't imagine why a Nintendo fan wouldn't want the Switch if all we've heard is true. It sounds afforadble, the concept of having both the handheld and home console together is fantastic, and there already sounds like there will be a plethora of worthwhile games out of the gate. Basically not wanting a Switch is just plain not wanting to play Nintendo games anymore, since this is their one and only platform going forward and it's not outrageously unaffordable.

My reason to not looking forward the Switch is quite simple: it's handheld inspired and I want comfort.
You see, with the former Nintendo Game Boy handhelds everything was fine, but when the DS came, Nintendo went from 2 to 4 face buttons. That shouldn't have been a problem, but somehow they decided that there was not enough room to keep the buttons of the same size as before, so they made them smaller. Why they did that? I don't know, but the end result are buttons that, for my taste, are too small and that I feel uncomfortable after even a very short amount of time. Remember, it's my opinion and how I feel.
And that brings me to the Switch and the reveal trailer, showing the device, the joy-cons and... the handheld sized buttons of those controllers. What a let down.
Sure, you can argue that there's the Pro controller, but that controller won't be bundled with the Switch console (just like the Classic didn't come with the Wii and the former Pro controller wasn't bundled with the Wii U), which means that I would have to buy it separatedly, and that's something I'm not going to do because that's a clear design flaw and I shouldn't have to buy an aditional controller just to be able to play with that machine.
I know that I'm a rare case, an extremely small minority, maybe even the only one, but that's how things are and no matter how great can the Switch be or how many great games it can have. I play games to have fun, and if the controller is uncomfortable to use, I won't be able to enjoy the games and have fun, therefore purchasing it doesn't make sense.
Please excuse my bad English.
