Already trying to downplay I see? Splatoon on the go and Pokémon Stars will probably boost sales of the Switch more than Zelda ever could. Especially in Japan, which is Nintendo's biggest market. I can see Splatoon selling 10 million plus copies if the Japanese 3DS owners all make the switch to the Switch. There's also that new IP and the Retro Studios game (which might be one and the same actually) that Eurogamer mentioned.
Even the 3D Mario platformer will help the Switch more than the new Zelda game, since that won't come out for the Wii U. Not to mention the possible boost the Mario franchise will get from the smarthphone game Super Mario Run. And 3D Mario is bigger than Zelda anyway.
If this line-up is true, I'm buying pretty much everything. It still depends on how much new content Splatoon and Mario Kart 8.5 have though, but it looks likely that I will sell my Wii U games and rebuy them on the Switch. That Mario RPG with the invading Rabbids sounds promising, but I need to see more before I decide if it's worth a purchase. If it looks like a quality game and not some cheaply made shovelware then I will definitely buy it.

Agree, I hope we not have any infos or rumours about games we don't know anything before 12. January.
So basically only things we know or assume and one guess.
Meh. Unimpressive so far. 3 ports from Wii U, and one port from 3DS. I'm sure there are other games that are unannounced, but I'm not excited yet.
Might as well as delay to holiday 2017. Without Zelda its going to be a fiasco.

"Downplay"? Seriously? Detach your ego from a console that hasn't even released. Is it not possible to discuss the launch of a video-game system from a critical perspective? Christ.
And, yes, I'm sure you're buying everything but I'm not talking about you, I'm talking about the people who skipped the Wii U and are outside Nintendo's current ecosystem, hence my use of the term "non-faithful".

Well Zelda is supposed to be delayed and what the hell would possess Nintendo to let Ubi use Mario for a dreadful Rabbids game? I call bologny.

Um what? You do realize how abysmal all launch lineups have been for over a decade now right? We're lucky if any new system comes out with one decent new title. I can't remember the last system to deliver 3 great new exclusive titles on launch. The original Xbox is the most recent one that comes to mind with Halo, Project Gotham Racing, and Dead or Alive 3 all great new launch titles. New Mario, new Pikmin, and new Pokemon at launch would be a major win for Switch. Better than anyone could have hoped for really. Not that I really believe this guy anyways cause of the Mario Rabbids game and Zelda.
Where are the 3rd party games? Or is this just first parties?
Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
