ive never played online on my ps2, but i was wondering if you can still buy that network adaptor, since i have the phat one.

also can u play ps2 games online on ur ps3?

I think it is discontinued, but you can probably find one on ebay or the like. Yes, you can play PS2 games online with a PS3. You do need to have a network config saved though. I think you can download it from the store, transfer it from one of your memory cards, or some games allow you to create one.

I can never find the network file on the PS Store. Have any directions to it? :P

You can find the network adapter don't worry too much and most PS2 online games are playable, its the games themselves you wont to worry about. Why oh why was BC removed.
