How is this a shocker? Switch is Nintendos next handheld. Of course its going to get Pokemon games.

It's not that it's getting a Pokemon Game, it's that it's getting a version of Pokemon Sun/Moon. The third version of a pokemon game has never been on a different console.

Pokemon Crystal was exclusive to Game Boy Color while the previous ones (Silver, Gold) didn't.

Pokemon Cristal was exclusive to Game Boy Color while the previous ones (Silver, Golden) worked on GB.

Pokemon gold/silver were marketed as GBC games though. Regardless that's a special situation due to forward compatibility.
