Yeah, I'd agree with that. I still haven't played Gears 4 yet, but from what I hear it's good not great so it's likely Uncharted 4 will be my GOTY for 2016. I also have had a much better year for gaming than some one here seem to have had.

Uncharted 4
Ratchet & Clank
Forza Horizon 3
Doom
Alienation

Those would be my top five for the year so far, though I've just started Battlefield 1.

 

Edit: Obviously people have different tastes, but I didn't like DS3, Inside, or Overwatch...

While uncharted 4 is easily the GOTY I'd actually put ratchet and clank up there as a runner up. Another awesome game.

Hopefully FFXV will beat it, judging from the Japanese judgement demo that i played for over 10 hours i think it will.

I agree with you that Uncharted 4 is the 2016 GOTY so far for me, and that only Final Fantasy XV or The last guardian could dethrone it.

Uncharted 4 is one of the few games I've played, I replayed at last difficulty, and remade it at easy to enjoy it once more, then three times in a row, and not weighed me, indeed, it's something that perhaps only with ND games is happening to me in recent years (and Final Fantasy).
The gameplay, the story, the characters omg how much i love all the characters, Sully,Nathan, Elena <3 , the locations and their variety. I loved everything about the game.

Uncharted 4 is, so far, an easily pick for 2016 goty to me. Waiting for Final Fantasy XV and The last guardian to come. I' ll be happy if one or maybe both will surpass Uncharted 4, that means that i've played other two masterpiece :3

For me it is the greatest game I played this year and the best game on PS4 to begin with. As long as you don't count remasters that is.

Really looking forward to what Naughty Dog has in store for us next (for both the UC4 story DLC, along with whatever game they release next...looking at you Last Of Us sequel!).

Upcoming games like FFXV, The Last Guardian, Pokemon Sun/Moon & Yakuza 6 might be people change their mind when they play them.

In my opinion, i'm quite enjoyed this year so far games like Doom, Forza Horizon 3, Titanfall 2, Dishonored 2, Shadow Warrior 2, Dark Souls 3, Overwatch & Shadow of the Beast.
