So Nintendo of America's Twitter revealed the release date and price of the upcoming smartphone Nintendo game: December 15th and at a price point of $9.99

Honestly that price is a bit too high for an endless runner IMO. It better be damn good to be paying for what you could typically get on the Appstore for free x.x

Dat price tag. Jesus they are so confident when it comes to Mario xD

I was hoping for a 4.99$ pricetag, specially because there are tons (and I mean TONS) of endless runners on Andriod/iOS.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

That's a bit higher than I expected but I'll test out the free modes and see if they've made this worth it.
In all reality if I find it to be very fun then $10 is nothing.

Could have been 10 cent and I would never buy it. Hope it does well though, so Nintendo gets more money to make games for Switch.

10$ for a runner.... higher than normal price for such, but if its good, its probably fine.

I'm curious to see how good it winds up being, $10 seems high but it'll probably sell just fine anyway.

That's a smart price. High for a runner, cheap for a Mario game. Under $10 is still low enough that people will buy it without giving it too much thought. Kid gets new iPhone, begs mom for Mario, she sees it's $9, taps visa. They'll sell 30 million of this without effort no matter what the price is. Might as well make $300 mil instead of 150.

I think 4.99$ would have been better but I think as long as it is lower than 15$ it's ok.

I know people were worried about the games not being quality and lowering the brand being a mobile game.
I guess they're really going for this thing and trying to make an awesome polished title with that price point.

It does seem to have better features than any of the runners out there.
