Nintendo shocked the world once more with the out-of-nowhere announcement of Cloud becoming a Smash Bros. DLC fighter. After all of the predictions, the belief that this would NEVER happen, Sakurai and Nintendo blew our minds and broke all logic when it came to who could join Smash Bros. (maybe a stretch but close...). Thus, long-time fans could finally create the dream match-up between Link and Cloud, which was teased from the Death Battle episode of them years ago and the Nomura poster following Cloud's reveal.

Ahhh, I remember it like it was yesterday.
It seems like every time there is an announcement of a new Smash Bros. character, regardless of who it is, it blows up the internet.
But Cloud's announcement didn't just blow up the internet, it dropped an Atomic Bomb on the fucking thing!!

Blew my mind when I watched it. But I didn't want Smash since they refused to put Toad in Smash. I was gifted a copy and accidentally bought Cloud when I was trying to buy Ryu. He is pretty good though.
