Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft should make an xbox classic.

I think the nes classic is a good idea, but the original xbox classic will be better and awesome.

Here are my must have picks.

Halo series, Half Life 2, Project Gotham, Splinter Cell Games, Crimson Skies, Jade empire, Ninja Gaiden, Doom 3, SW old republic. Let me know what you think.

why not just make the first Xbox BC? its PC architecture

I don't think anyone should be making these "classic" products.

I think a PS2 Classic and an Xbox Classic would be a good idea the issue would be that games during this time period actually have a fairly large file size. I think a 500 GB HDD is the smallest they could do pretty much the cheapest you could get a quality one for is 30$ so I think that would put the whole device at at least 120$ (after game licensing and all hardware while leaving something for profit) I do not think many people would be interested at that price point

yes please, Ninja Gaiden Black and Dead or alive 3

The original games didnt have enough top tier exclusives to justify that imho. I only really played like ten games on it...and those were all games I couldnt get on the PS2.

I doubt Microsoft is much interested in a small burst of income from what is essentially a seasonal toy that does not lead to or provide further streams of revenue.

I don't think its worthwhile. Instead just add Xbox BC to X1 and perhaps make a compilation disc of notable Xbox games like Rare Replay did using emulation.

I don't see the appeal.

I'd just buy the original console, if you don't want to do that then there's plenty of places you can play the games on unoriginal hardware. They're selling you an emulator in a case.
