Haven't actually played that one yet, so no. The game I'm talking about is a few years older.

To the Moon?
Edit (To avoid been ninja'd while writing): My first choice was Undertale too, but Bralod was quickier
Professor Layton & Pandora's Box as guessed by Entropio
'Professor Layton & Pandora's Box' is a puzzle adventure on the Nintendo DS handheld that follows the quest of professor Hershel Layton and his sidekick Luke trying to solve a Sherlock Holmes-esque mystery. Being part adventure, part point-and-click and part puzzle game, it's quite unique and thus the most memorable thing I played on the DS.
The story is complicated, and involves the search for a mystical box that is said to give the owner supernatural powers. Events around the supposed owner make this seem like it might actually be a true story and through the solving of riddles and word- or math problems Layton gets closer and closer to the real answer to the story. Most puzzles are based on real world logic questions invented by the brightest minds on this planet, molded into the Layton theme.
Some puzzles are really mind boggling, while others are easy to solve. There's a good balance however and the quirky story and the appealing design makes you keep on playing. 'Pandora's Box' is the first game I played in the series, and it made me pick up 'The Lost Future' and 'The Miracle Mask' as well, which are equally great, so even with about 150 puzzles in each game, puzzles just don't get boring.
#38: The box-art of this game features a monstrous eye seen through a ship's porthole.

To the Moon it is.
When I was a foolish kid who turned down the volume during cutscenes so my dad didn't hear the swearing, this was my drug. GTA San Andreas is easily my favourite in the series. I never really cared much about the story (and as a young non-english speaker, couldn't care [but it taught me English!]), but looking back to it now, it was a pretty good one. And the flow of the game was great, as there was a real sense of time passing. After you leave your initial area, and meet all sorts of weirdos, a lot has changed in San Andreas. That felt really good back then. And having to work your way back in the hood... it felt great, damn it! Riding on so many different vehicles was awesome, and finding the ONE bike you wanted was the bomb. Gameplay was also quite enjoyable, but I remember the game being near impossible without cheat codes.
Aah, those cheat codes. After you finish the game for a 3rd time, finding the most random cheats and experimenting was a new adventure. It also had a great soundtrack, but since it's not really an "OST", I won't count it. Great game, but I have outgrown the "bloody and mature = fun" mentality, so it lost some value...
Hint #38: One of the best selling shooters of all time. Maybe unexpected, considering the past releases in the series are much, much more beloved...
Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

#44 Game Description: This sequel follows it's predecessor by having a touch based story mode where you play mini games revolving around bombs to get coins and accessories. It's other mode is a more widely recognized and despite being newer, it can still pair up with any past game on the this system for multiplayer goodness. Created by a company that went bankrupt and was acquired by a big company
Game hint: Oversized heads and hands with lots of explosions!

#40 Game Description: The 2nd game of this series that debuted in the 6th generation, with the sequel still on the same system. Skipped the 7th generation only to have the 3rd sequel on the 8th. This game adds in another playable character that allows easy switching
Game hint: Strength in numbers is the key to sucess
--
#39 Game Description: A PC game that revolves around technology, resources, diplomacy, and of course fighting. This 3rd game plays on a grid based map that allows for stacking of units, making it really hard to capture cities
Game hint: Territory you own depends on your cultural influence
