It's more or less about the same where I live (east Fort Worth, TX). I'm sure you getting the low food prices based on Aldi.

Caputos, aldi, and Walmart. I bring this up because in Toronto, food prices are crazy. Was wondering what others pay.

Well Toronto has some of the highest food prices in North America its probably on par with NYC and LA. Hawaii also has very high food prices but that is because pretty much everything has to be imported.

Newfoundland in US dollars:
A dozen eggs 2.22 cents.
Gallon of milk $4.44
Gallon of gas $3.85
Loaf of bread $1.48.

At No Frills in Ontario Canada, budget supermarket, selected cheapest prices

Dozen Eggs 1.97 ($1.46)
4L milk 4.27 ($2.99 per gallon)
Liter of gas today 0.98 ($2.75 per gallon)
Loaf of bread 1.47 ($1.09)
Dunno about jeans, haven't bought them in a while.
1kg Peanut butter 5.88 ($4.36)
Salmon filet 30.36/kg ($10.20 per pound)
medium ground beef 13.46/kg ($4.52 per pound)

There's no tax on most food items though, 1.67 tax on 152 for groceries.
Soft drinks, chips and chocolate granola get taxed apparently, yet not key lime pie, ice cream or specialty coffee.

Phoenix area.

Don't eat eggs, milk, or bottled water(use filtration unit) so who knows?

Gas is $1.95/gallon

I usually buy Dave's Killer Bread which is $5.00/loaf. I'm sure you can buy shit bread for a $1 or less.

Don't know individual prices but in my state, there's no food tax.

Regina, Sask, Canada. A dozen eggs are $2.70 and all the way up to.....$3.00.
