lol China won't even look at the US after Trump is done with it. Even Russia will be ashamed to admit they wanted this. |
You're from the future?
He'll deregulate, then be forced to reregulate. A few bad things will happen during deregulation, then hopefully they will implement only the minimum necessary regulation to protect people.
I'm a little surprised at this the Scaramucci guy though. I thought he was backing the other GOP candidates and now Trump is working with him? This guy seems to be typical Wall St. He controls a $12 billion finance company.
I hope Trump can smell his bullshit and acts accordingly. If Trump lets the people down who voted for him, the left could become more powerful than ever. It could be civil war.
But I'm getting a little ahead of myself here. None of this has happened yet. It's wait and see time....

In Italy two Goldman-Sachs advisors, Mario Monti and Romano Prodi, are eminent left wing figures, the former was chief of a large coalition government when the left wing managed to make Berlusconi resign, and previously he served as European Union Commissioner, the latter was chief of the whole left wing coalition for a long time, and he became chief of a left wing government twice and president of the European Union Commission once. Both managed to damage both Italy and the whole Europe during their terms of office. So, while it's not a good thing if the right wing goes to bed with Goldman-Sachs, the left wing isn't a defence against that, either. |
Please.. It has been at least 40 years that the governements, any government, have been damaging Italy. Berlusconi is indeed the best example of what to expect from Trump: he first served his own interests, as any tycoon does, it is in their DNA. The only (or main) differences between Trump and Berlusconi is that Trump doesn't have any problem with the justice. Also, if I remember correctly, there is a law in USA were the Presidents are not allowed to have conflicts of interest, Trump should put all his businesses in a blind trust.
Still it doesn't matter. Because one of the first things mr. Donald is going to do is to cut the taxes for the wealthy, and eliminate (or at least he will try to) the inheritance tax. And that's exactly what Berlusconi did. Also Berlusconi called the latter "hideous". Conflict of interest at 100%.

I'm not saying Berlusca didn't damage Italy (even at his best he wasn't anyway able to keep his promises, except some tax cuts and very few and insufficient simplifications, due to the inability to make all the parts of his Brancaleone Army majorities agree on important points), but my point in my previous post was another, that you can find lots of Goldman-Sachs pawns not only in right-wing and centre parties but also in left-wing ones.
About the amount of damages made to Italy, numbers talk, the most harmful ever in the last 40 years, and maybe even on a longer timespan, were De Mita, Amato and Monti, they made the public debt skyrocket while at the same time increasing taxes and not improving services to the citizen in De Mita and Amato case, or even worse cutting them like Monti.
