Sitting at the office, just got the PS4 Pro during lunch break... t-3h to try it all by myself. And HYPE on FFXV, hope the improvements are there on day 1 :D

Not really misleading...
Good news if true.
My TV has a good performing picture interpolation, and [mostly] locked 30fps games are really working great with it, making it close to a native 60 fps experience (only with a little higher input lag: 45ms-ish). For games like Uncharted 4 and The Witcher 3, which don't rely on twitch level input latency, the effect works wonder. So if they can make the game perform flawlessly at a locked 30fps, that would be enough for me.
But if S-E can provide a native 60fps experience, that would be awesome!

Well FFXV comes out end of Nov, maybe this can come up early Dec? Also it'll still be ready just in time for those that are getting the Pro and FFXV for Christmas.

I did( gematsu.com)
This site is extremely annoying on my phone
If they can release a patch that increases the framerate then I will hold off playing it until it arrives

Don't blame your phone for that!
Cool news though, can imagine a lot of people will be picking up the PS4 just as a "future proofing" idea with 1080p TV's so it's great that Square are also making sure that those people see major upgrades when playing games at that resolution, I wonder in fact would it be a more enjoyable experience to even take the game down from 4k to 1080p just to get that smoother framerate even if you had a higher res display.
Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive
I'd have preferred a larger image quality bump, but in the absence of multiple performance options, i guess they saw 1080p/60fps as the best general bet (since many Pro owners, especially closer to launch, won't own a 4k TV).
It'll be interesting to see how close they get to their target. I don't expect much in the way of a lock, especially not in towns/cities (where the CPU will be under more strain), but if they can achieve a high variable then that'd be pretty nice.
