I mean, you know, there are a million forums out there that allow garbage threads. Why do we need them here burying other, better threads?

We have a few members who really love their sensationalism and they like to spam it everywhere but it makes the forum feel like a trash dump where you have to sift through junk to find the good stuff.

People who are determined to force their view-points and agenda across by spamming the forums are the most obnoxious and there are a few I wish would make the perma-banned list.

But I do agree with OP. I think I even mentioned about this in the Emily Rogers mega-thread. The Emily Rogers threads were annoying to me and that's because I have no interest in them but a good amount of people will. If nobody cares about "another Emily Rogers thread" then nobody will post and the thread dies. If people do post then it'll be kept alive. It sort of manages itself.

Megathreads are cool if you visit them reguarly. Otherwise it just becomes one jumbled mess of nonsense.

I feel continued attacks on different communities for the sake of making them look bad should be a bannable offense. Such as cropping up in every PC thread to talk about how PS4 is better, or wandering into PlayStation threads to shit on Sony regardless of the situation. (You two know who you are.)
