I'm not dying to play it because if I wanted to play an NES game, I've probably already bought it on virtual console, or as a remake. In some cases, like Super Mario Bros 3, I have bought it more than thrice.  It's a neat enough collectable that I'll buy it anyway, but it's not like I'll cry myself to sleep if I don't have a 7th system to play Mega Man 2 on.

I'm just hoping it doesn't immediately sell out to some scalper assholes who then put 30 of them up on eBay for crazy prices. Some are already up there (essentially buying a preorder) for over $100.

Would be nice if we could get an exact time and date for when they'll be available to preorder or just order on amazon.

I'd rather to get a Switch and use the VC instead.

Probably not, though there are some games on there that make it very tempting, but I will likely end up passing on it.... and regretting it later TwT

That's neat. The thing is that I've beaten almost everyrthing Nintendo has ever released except for NES games, so it would fell like a whole new system for me. I was worried about save states, because I was told that NES games are really hard, but with save states it's done xD.

Amazon was meant to deliver day 1 but kindly informed me that Nintendo didn't deliver enough stock to honor all of their pre-orders.

I don't get Nintendos policy of understocking just about everything.....

I was planning to. Short cables are a real issue for me, but there should be a wireless version.

Didn't plan to get it, but it sat at my local retailer yesterday, so I just took it with me! I'm loving it so far, the emulation is really awesome and better than anything I have seen on PC before. I also like the CRT filter. I started with StarTropics, I'm gonna play that sucker from the beginning to the end!

The only downside is the controller cable. It's really really short. Ridiculously short. Seriously, what were they thinking?
