We already know that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is not doing very well. As reported two days ago, it sold 48.4% less than Call of Duty: Black Ops III first week in UK.
Media Create just reported sales from Japan for the week ending November 6, and while the drop was not as big as in UK, Infinite Warfare sells 35.8% less than Black Ops III first week, indeed Infinite Warfare barely sells 105,764 units on PS4, compared to Black Ops III which did 164,716 on PS4 and PS3 ( 143,817 on PS4, 20,899 on PS3).
But the most interesting part is surely the comparation with it’s main rival, Battlefield 1.
For years Call of Duty was a bigger series than Battlefield worldwide, and Japan was not difference, but this year we saw for the first time ever a Battlefield game getting a bigger launch than Call of Duty.
While not by much, battlefield 1 sells 6.9% more than Call of Duty Infinite Warfare first week, with 113,061 units according to Media Create. (now at 182,419 after 3 weeks)
It’s finally happen then, at least in Japan. Will be very interesting to see what is the trend in the rest of the world.

At least this is the first time in 6-7 years when Im actually waiting for the CoD numbers to arrive
