I need a ps4 so I'm getting a ps4pro first and probably following with psvr in january for RE7.
It's a tricky question because the OG ps4 might not be enough for VR. PSVR would be the obvious choice for people having an interest in VR and already have a ps4 otherwise.

Of course PSVR. Who is playing on consoles for the best possible graphics is doing it wrong, you should buy a PC.
I am eager to try VR so I would choose VR.

I have a bought a pro first because I have a HDR 4k tv, I will buy a PSVR later when more games that support it have launched. It would also be great if PSVR is a bit cheaper than.

Well Pro ain't gonna have no exclusives so o would buy PSVR first then if I was bothered enough would pick up a pro when they cheaper. ( which is exactly what ibe done)

Pro. I'll probably start considering VR next gen if it will have really become mainstream and cheap.

A Pro, I already had a PS4 and I pre-ordered PSVR as soon as I could, the Pro I've held off for now with a view to hopefully getting a good deal before Horizon, but it's tempting me.

I suppose it wouldn't really matter as it would mean I'd just buy the other.

Oh, well, didn't see the edit before, in that case, if I already owned a regular PS4, I'd keep it and choose PSVR without any doubt.
