Yes.

Yes.

Even if Switch fails (but it wont), Nintendo should just try again.

The money that they got with the Wii + DS(and the fact that the Wii U is giving some profit) they have the $$ to try several console generations even with mediocre sales.

It will still be a spiritual successor. the name or brand is irrelevant.

I don't talk about name or brand, I talking about platform.

Yeah and I'm talking a platform that is a successor to the 3DS and not the Wii U.

But Switch is platform that is successor to both 3DS and Wii U. So if they decide to release only handheld device, it will be part of Switch platform, not brand new platform.

If switch completely bombs as I'm saying they'll look to market a direct successor to the 3DS.

Why would they make totally new platform with totally new handheld, and burn hundreds of millions of dollars on new R&D and development of new games for that platform, and throw at least two years for all that, when they can just make standalone Switch handheld with already available lineup of games!?

They plan to release more hardware that will be part of Switch platform and that will play same games, not to make totally new platform.

I said if the Switch absolutely bombs.  releasing a switch 2 would also bomb in that case.

Again if Switch abolustley bombs (but no way it will absolutly bomb), they will stick with Switch platform and just released new hardware that will basicly be part of Switch platform, not new hardware and new platform.

I don't feel it will do well, personnally I'm not really interested in the switch.
