Forums - Nintendo - Pokemon Go - Daily Rewards now live!

7 Day streak reward was 17 items, 10 of which were base Pokeballs, very underwhelming considering that was the standard from the 10th unique stop for the last week lol, no strange items... no pokecoins, nothing out of the ordinary for something which takes a full week to earn. I'm not even shocked at this stage which is the worst thing about this game.

From this event

Town got infested with Electabuzz's Also lol at how Venonat is the only thing on the nearby which is actually "nearby" and the 3 Electabuzz's are no where to be found there.

Also this is pretty telling, 2 more places to drop and the app is less popular than Yahoo Mail.

Yeah, I heard about the reward on level 30, and really, not so great. Though I guess if I get enough of them to replace the regular ones, I'd be okay with that, but more Ultra balls would be great. Everything is too strong now Dx

Fairly weird though, the Pokemon spawning seem to have been left at the higher level which it was pushed up to during the event or at least in some ways like with Omanyte now has the same spawning points which only started during the event... but of course getting 1 ball from a Pokestop means that you are going to be running into a situation where there is Mon around that you'll have nothing to catch them with, maybe that's the plan, try to sell Pokeballs for people who really have to catch them all?

Yeah, I think I noticed that as well. They don't come out as often, but still more so than before. And I feel like pokestops give out less items now. I was getting sets of 3 more often, with occasional 6 items being given out. I wish they had at least taken the extra spawn points away too. I can't keep restocking every few days -_-;

Yeah I got that feeling slightly too with the 3 item stops... but wasn't sure if it was actually reduced from before the event or if it just feels like that because the Event was so plentiful, if they have cut the number of items given from stops in the hopes of selling more Pokeballs to users with currency then that is pretty shitty, especially when as I posted above, the app is not getting new downloaders, now they just have their group playing it still so really this would be a bad time to annoy the remaining players who are keeping the game in the top 3 for Grossing Apps.

And don't take away the spawns just yet though lol, I caught my first Omanyte thanks to the new spawn points, and now have 30something candies and a Amazing rated guy who is just under 1000cp to evolve, wanna get him done before that spawn point is "niantic"ed away from me.

Yeah, I'm getting kinda annoyed as well. Hopefully they don't make anymore unnecessary changes. I'm not really a fan of the changes done with the gym. It makes leveling up and maintaining gyms very annoying. It shouldn't take 10-15 minutes to build up one rank when someone can take down the whole gym in less time...

Strange you mention Omanyte, as I've been finding Kabuto lately. I don't mind Kabuto nests staying around a lil longer.

Good luck saving for your Kabutops! I wonder when Gen 2 arrives how they'll handle some of the new evolutions Pokemon get, say I've got an Onix (dire in PoGo) but have over 100 candy for him too so wondering when Steelix arrives will I just be able to just evolve my dude no hassle, also... I've got over 200 Electabuzz candy now, but doubtful that I'll be able to use that to get Elekid since he is a pre-volution not evolution from Electabuzz.

I figure when gen 2 comes out, they'll make it so that pokemon like Onix and Scyther will be able to evolve after getting a certain amount of candy. Though now that'll make it more annoying for pokemon like poliwhirl and slowpoke, since both pokemon have 2 different evolutions. -_-; I'm just hoping they make it possible to transfer pokemon from Go to Sun/Moon. I'm pretty much out of space holding doubles of most pokemon...

Also, I have 2 Kabutops already Though both of them are way too weak to use -_-;

Just noticed another thing from this, I'm not a driver so it hadn't appeared for me yet, but after googling it seems that loads of people are encountering it, but yeah if you are traveling at any speed now you wont be able to hit pokestops for items, a fake attempt at stopping users from driving and playing and more a way to try to get people to buy items from the store rather than have easier ways to farm pokestops on the tram or bus to work.

But yeah I experienced this shite tonight... while out for my Jog, I had to intentionally slow down to a walk for the pokestops on the route I take because otherwise I was getting a "try again later" message whihc would persist even after I stopped for a few mins... in close to 0degree's temperature to see what the issue was... terrible terrible terrible terrible... it really saddens me to see that the game is now deep in the 70s in popularity but is still number 1 in grossing, just means that rather than trying to draw more players in they are just aiming to drain the cash from the people who are still playing it I guess the logic is "if you haven't quit with all the bs so far, you'll never stop paying us for this" but it really annoys me that there are players out there pumping in more money because of broken features in the game, I mean.. if people didn't pay for items then their cash would go down and they might revert changes, but as people pay Niantic to break more features then I see the trend continuing until they basically have converted every aspect of the game into a real life money drain for the remaining handful of players.

Anyways, guess it's an ego boost, I now Jog too fast for Pokemon Go, go me!

Ah, so it's just not me as well. I tried to do the same while riding on a card and it gave me the 'try again' message, even when I was slowly on my bike. Also, too many pokemon STILL appear while not supplying enough items to compensate, to the point I have to restock every other day, rather than once a week. Niantic are really goofing up with the changes here >: T

Well the idea now is that there are so many Pokemon around that those people who really have to "catch them all" are having to go onto the store and buy Pokeballs with actual money to do so, I would like to imagine that people wouldn't do this... but the game being at the number 1 spot for Grossing on android sadly points to people doing exactly that. Giving tons of items related to Gym battling when in reality you only need at most a handful of revives or if you're over 30 just Max revives, don't even need potions anymore but they're just pushing more and more of those junk items to lower the amount of actual catching tools players get. It's all just done to direct players towards micro transactions to "catch them all" sad stuff.

Also should mention, if you try to spin a stop while moving fast (me fucking jogging lol) it gives you that message for 5 mins as though you had actually successfully gotten items from the stop, Niantic = tools basically when it comes to actually giving something of value to their players, each update just makes it worse and worse just milking those who remain to try to make up same profits from having 50m players each day but getting that same $ out of a tiny fraction of the user base is just going to kill off the game completely (or leave it in the shambles that it is right now)

Yeah, certainly does seem like they want people to spend more on the shop when I'm always running low on items and can't even restock on items when pokemon keep appearing and using up the items I just get. I'm getting to the point where I ignore the strong CP pokemon, just so that I don't waste them all on a few pokemon. Meanwhile, I just have so many potions... -_-

And I encountered the same issue with the pokestop. I was going at a high speed, and even though I was moving to a walk speed by the pokestop, it still gave me the 'try again' message, and I had to wait a few seconds to use it. Why Niantic, why are you starting to ruin the game...? =__=
