Forums - Politics - Prediction: Trump Wins Popular Vote, but Clinton Wins Electoral Vote

Very unlikely.

Hilary will get at least 320 delegades and a 5% lead in popular vote.

I think it's actually more likely to go the other way if Clinton doesn't win both. She is doing well in States she's still probably going to lose like Texas.

Though realistically she's probably going to win both.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

The 5% lead in the popular vote is possible, I doubt she'll get 320 delegates. If the election were held two weeks ago sure, but I think she'll end up with 290 electoral votes.

Trump = Puppet Leader for Russia

Hillary = Puppet leader for Soros

either way we get a puppet

Again this is false equivalency. You want to talk about Russia. Great lets talk about that. Soros is a not a government state, he is a rich guy who contributes to some liberal causes, just like the Koch Brothers contribute to various conservative causes (by the way the Koch Brothers are worth over $40 billion, Soros is $24 billion, so you tell me which of the two have more influence). From everything I can tell Soros is basically a 80s/90s conservative of wanting free market and "free market capitalism" everywhere (the Reagan doctrine) which basically means "freedom" = McDonalds and Coca-Cola on every street corner in the world.

With regards to Russia, I'm sorry but you lost the Cold War last time I checked. You don't own Ukraine anymore.

This is like a a husband who's divorced from his wife who thinks he can still come over to a house that isn't even his and slap his wife around and no one should say or do anything.

This has to be said, but ive seen you call a bunch of people out for being republican or far right type of people, but do you yourself relaize how far left you are?

Far left? based on what? lol.

I'm a centrist, the Republican party is the one that's gone looney tunes, Ronald Reagan would not even recoginize the party today per his own kids.

By the way, the guy who really pushed the Soros conspiracy theory ... conservative pundit Glenn Beck has even said Trump is unfit for presidency and has said he's voting Clinton, so even the guy who pushes this theory the hardest has said Trump is unfit for office.

Which policy positions? Trump does not represent a centrist position, far from it.

The opposite is actually much more likely.

I don't know about that, but it will definitely be a close election.

No it is statistically much more likely for Clinton to win the popular vote and lose the electoral college than the other way around.

Nationally she is polling about 4% ahead of Trump, but state polls in the so-called Rust Belt are tightening, meaning Trump could squeak by in Ohio and claim 270+ electoral votes but lose the popular vote by a few percentage points. According to polling aggregate site 538 there's about a 12 percent chance of this happening. The odds of your scenario coming to pass are less than 1 out of 100.
