Is Color Splash really that bad?...

From someone who's finished the game and was working to completion, no, it's not that bad. It's quite good actually. Really enjoyed it myself. It's got great presentation, music, writing, and is just fun to play, though of course not everyone will agree.

I also like the game. Its not as good as the original Paper Mario or TTYD(obviously) but its ok.

I would probably have liked it better if the left analog stick on my Upad didnt make the character go slightly to the right sometimes...made for some frustrating moments.

Yeah, it would be hard to beat TTYD since that is a classic and a masterpiece. The original Paper Mario though, it's been such a long time since I last played it, I really need a refresher. It's a good thing it's easy to grab on the eshop. Hopefully someday Nintendo will release a TTYD HD version or just a port, just so I can get a copy and replay that too.

Also, is your analog stick starting to wear out from using it? o_O

It's surprisingly decent. Although it has flaws (lacking combat system, Toad overload... ), the charm, sense of adventure and witty dialogues and humour of the first games are there. It's also lengthy (about 30 hours).

I think its because of my nephews, since it happened after they used it. Shit happens Ill probably get a new one anyways while its still at a reasonable price.
