that Dragon Quest IX is going to the DS
after 8!! games, being the most succesfull (console!!) game series in Japan ever!

KH going tot DS with it's 3th game, without a legacy like Dragon Quest,
is actually almost not ground-breaking or breaking with traditions..

it's been earlier on the GBA.. and that was not a port or remake..

maybe i'm becoming an 'old' gamer
who seems not to nother understand some things many gamers these days are conserned about..

if it would be true, then it wouldn't make not sense..
cause it would make less sense to release it exclusively on one console,
multi-platform could be a good option for Square Enix
but the DS is also..

 True, it is quite believable. I do hope you're wrong about all RPGs migrating to the DS though... I own one, I just prefer them so much more on consoles. As someone mentioned earlier, SRPG's work great on a handheld, but RPGs, not so much.
