Many GTA titles on the iOS store that can be easily ported to the NS, and Bioshock too.

I hope Switch doesn't get a GTA V port: too many people already played it on any of the other consoles or PC. I fear it would lead to them saying "See, can't sell GTA in meaningful numbers on the system." To which I say "Duh!".

Or the other way around. It could lead to a Minecraft situation, making people say "Jeez, this massively multiplat game is everywhere but the Switch, there must be a reason for it" and avoid the system. I don't think GTA V will be on the Switch, but I don't think that's a good thing.

Doesn't seem like any of the major 3rd parties are confirming games for the Switch.  I know when Kou Shibusawa of Koei Tecmo announced that Nobunaga’s Ambition was coming to the Switch he said that Nintendo was going to scold him for announcing it, implying that Nintendo is holding off all game announcements (even ones that are more or less confirmed like Skyrim Remastered) until their January press conference.

Thirds keep saying this exact line, even Bethesda said it. Which leads me to think that they are saying "we'll only announce our games officially at the Nintendo event during January".

That's what I've been thinking.

We've all heard this before, and back then it was about the Wii U. Look have that fared. I'm not getting my hopes up. I suspect the NS will be THE best Nintendo 1st party machine ever, and that it'll have great Japanese 3rd party support, but Western devs will be lacking, I'm sure.
