Just so you know, even if the ns is weaker game engines are scalable these days. Thats why on pc gaming you can play a game with a $100 gpu and with $600 gpu. And thanks to nvidia's optimization is easier.

Doesn't seem like any of the major 3rd parties are confirming games for the Switch. I know when Kou Shibusawa of Koei Tecmo announced that Nobunaga’s Ambition was coming to the Switch he said that Nintendo was going to scold him for announcing it, implying that Nintendo is holding off all game announcements (even ones that are more or less confirmed like Skyrim Remastered) until their January press conference.
Next GTA, Bioshock collection, another Borderlands on Switch and we're all good Take Two

I thought that was a link to an article at first.

Yeah, it depends on the title. Definitely not expecting GTA6 or Red Dead 2 or any other game where developers spend a lot of time trying to push the boundaries of current gen systems.
Not really into yearly sports game, but I suppose we can get an update of the genre every console launch.
I did ignore your ball hoop game for measly 3eur, but I did get the footy 2010 legacy edition for 5eur.
Maybe I'm exagerating and prices were double what I mentioned, can't remember.

So what are the titles we can realistically expect from T2 to come to the Switch? A GTA V port might be too late and T2 seems to want to keep GTA and Nintendo as far away from each other as possible. RDR2 won't because they don't trust Nintendo as of yet. NBA is a sports game, so it will be an obvious multiplat (plus it being on the Switch ad).
no reason not to release GTA5, the console is well more powerfull then the X360/PS3 so it should be an easy port, NBA 2k17 is deff happening
The chances for battleborn are low and red dead is NOT happening, PS4 is the lead platform and the trailer looks like some of the best graphics ever, they will have their hands full on getting the version up to par for the PS4Pro and Xbox Scorpio

This is not a problem of whether or not they can do it, but whether or not they want to do it. GTA and Nintendo have been too far away from ech other in a lot ow ways. There have been three GTAs on Nintendo systems, one on the DS, one on the GBA, and other one on the GameBoy of all things . None of them have been the mainline GTA, even when Nintendo has had an option of running those games. Why didn't Rockstar make a port of 3, Vice City or San Andreas to the Wii, even when it had the biggest userbase at the time and it would have been just a port?
Take2 does not trust Nintendo, but they are aware they can pull off another Wii without warning, so at least they will have some basketball games there, just like WiiU.
