The real story here is the slim PS4. It nearly collapsed the Pros yearly lead in 2 days. Its journey up the charts is meteoric. Don't think I have ever seen anything move this fast. Its ironic, because people didn't even give the Slim a chance. Yes, the good deals really helped too, but I give credit to Sony for understanding the demand paradigm. I predict the Pro will slay next Black Friday.

Its fascinating to see how this works work.

Both versions of Pokemon now out of stock. Congrats, Amazon. I mean, seriously, Pokemon? That's guaranteed to sell eventually, why start off with a small stock?

Minecraft bundle will sell well, the BF bundle will too. But you are overestimating the effect of those bundles. For it to be "close" the Xbox One must have a chance to win. It needs to outsell the PS4 by hundreds of thousands in order to surpass PS4 Pro's Pre-orders.

Battlefield 1 has been outperforming COD on the Xbox store, and in the UK. Also on PC it's destroying it. There is no way FFXV will outsell Battlefield 1. 

Battlefield having a worse launch than Cod's  launch despite the huge drop. People who purchase Cod aren't purchasing any other game, I would give more credit if Battlefield surpassed   Cod's old levels of sales or if it wasn't having such a hard time outselling a franchise in decline.

Well its because of digital. NPD shows that on average games in October had a 30% digital and games that had play first(BF1 had play first) has bigger digital sales. Also EA expected their game sales to reach 30% digital on consoles by year's end.

As expected, the amount of mental gymnastic is embarrassing, so where the PS4 wins is not representative cause reasons...

PS4 have Amazon by a landslide, and Gamestop which is a huge blow to MS to lose the biggest retailer

When you add Greenburg shutting his mouth on twitter is basically a white flag waving, they have never missed an opportunity before so why now!

I agree, they were in the top for over a month and they sold more than everything yearly each (excluding top 3 psn cards)

I'd wait until Monday. 

 

He probably isn't saying anything because they got demolished WW, don't forget they were selling 199e Ps4 across Europe or 249e with Uncharted 4 and IW etc. 

 

Also is week before Final Fantasy hits Japan, should be big for Ps4 over there this week and next week.

Was the Gamestop multiple game PS4 bundles for black friday only? They're out of it already. Only the regular Uncharted bundle is available. Too bad as they were outselling everything else.
