Nintendo screwed me once.

It was fun.

not Nintendo's fault you believed them

It is Nintendo's fault for sending the wrong message when everyone expected them to just axe the console like they did with the Virtual Boy.

the writing was on the wall, most people already saw what was happening, now if some people ignored the signs thats on them, despite what Ninty said.

The writing wasn't on the wall because Nintendo released big games on the system. everyone thought Nintendo was serious about supporting the system and they never screwed people like they did with the wii u. They did a bait and switch.

and none of that did anything for the sales, which the WIi U didnt have good sales for pretty much its entire life. Sales are important in the end and if its not making sales, no point in producing them. IMHO they did ok all things considering.

Nintendo published over 40 retail games on Wii U which is similar to what N64/GC/Wii got, they did support it.

u already contradict yourself. How is nintendo screwing wii u owners releasing big games on the syistem? Many wii u owners have been fine with nintendo support. I know many people that are good buying only FIFA and COD for their PS's and XB's. How can a user on this site affirms that 10M are feeling betrayed, unhappy or screwed with what Nintendo did for the Wii U? Seriously, this is so stupid and this thread is not even the first to bring such a ridiculous claim.

And seeing some replies here. Even the most dramatic people (users of this site) couldn't give a shit about wii u games being ported to switch

That's a lot to cover for Nintendo's dev teams, especially since they were still green to HD development. Few of the proposed games are a hard sell because they haven't sold that well in the past to warrant more games (I.e. F-Zero, Eternal Darkness), Sakurai is/was not interested in making a Kid Icarus Uprising sequel, Ice Climber (while considered classic, was not necessarily well received back then) has been irrelevant outside of Smash, and Star Tropics is like Murasame, great game known by hardcore fans but not really known among the casual gamers. Plus not sure how Game Freak would work out a Pokemon MMO due to mostly putting their efforts on their mainline games that are on handhelds. And $99.99 is asking Nintendo to take a huge loss that could do more damage if it doesn't sell its entire stock at least. Even the GameCube wasn't able to build much momentum at $99 and it had majority of the hits back then.

Unless you're kidding.. Maybe they'll be able to do it now since their divisions are now able to communicate better due to moving into one HQ and they've gotten the HD experience down. Remember even Sony and Microsoft had a tough time out of the gate back in gen 7 with HD.

13.5m units sold over approximately 4 years on the market. Let that sink in and then talk about everything Nintendo owes their existing audience. That is to say the ones still playing on the Wii U.

If you were one of the minority of first year adopters and you are disappointed, or even rage quit upset over how the product life cycle panned out, then by all means; do not support Nintendo in the future. A lot of Nintendo's supporters move on to Playstation or Xbox, PC gaming or just phase out of video games as they get older. It's normal. Nintendo should be pleased with the number of unmarried millennials they managed to keep into the current generation as far as I'm concerned.

Presumably, you are also done with all their franchises, as they remain the number one reason for buying Nintendo consoles.

But does Nintendo owe what's left of the Wii U market a list of entitled demands? No.
