Note that Xbox had Gears , Fifa and Battlefield bundles . 

Those WiiU numbers are abysmal. I bet PS3 sold better. The Switch can't come soon enough.

Are they up or down yoy? Last year Xbox had Halo so it would be interesting if it was up YOY. Also source?

The console offerings and their deals with them are great at the moment in the UK what with discounted consoles and what not because of new versions. Xbox had the better games over the month, PS4 had some crazy deals at the start of the month (ps4 plus a game for £150, not just any game, FIFA, unless that was late last month... I forget).

I'm surprised that September the Xbox lead was only about 1,500 systems. Not surprised they had a good October, as the Slim didn't realize until the tail end of September, so it was bound to have some momentum into last month. The S is doing better than I thought it would, I must admit. Signs are that the Pro will likely give PS4 a heftier boost than I expected, as well. 

Gears, fifa and Battlefield bundles and it only beats the ps4 by 25k? When lots of people will be holding off for a Pro in November. I'm surprised.

This was the PS4S first full month and the PS4 had crazy deals at the start of the month.

But it didn't have 3 huge bundles with advertising deals.  and as I said the Pro. they are barely scratching the big ps4 lead in the UK with these wins.  they're not impresive when the ps4 is about to go into beast mode.
