Third parties ain't letting go of their $60 grip or the $60 season pass/DLC.

To be fair, on handhelds they go for $40. Except Atlus games that go for $50 x.x

We can dream together pup, but we ain't gatting full versions of XBone/PS4 games at $40. Third parties ain't gonna like it, and Sony/Microsoft are going to like it even less. Not happening on AAA games.

I'd be willing to pay 60$ for Pokemon if they build upon Sun and Moon's graphic and scope.
I don't know if I would pay for 60 for a 2D Kirby game though even if it's HD. I would definitely not pay 60 for another NSMB sequel unless the 3D World/Land series replace them.

$40. Because they are portable console games scaled to fit a screen, not the other way around.

Funny that this is the very first time I am seeing this question asked by anyone other than myself :)

You're gonna have both kinds. But for the most part, I predict $60+ (for reference: prices of games in Europe).

Yeah, I'm wondering if we will see a mix of both. Kind of like how we see with PS4/X1 remasters

Initially, definetely both if the console will indeed succeed the 3DS for 3rd party support. It's gonna take a bit more time still to up the development standards and costs to a higher than 3DS standard, so, eventually, it's gonna lean toward $60 for, say, every 9 games out of 10.

I'm thinking $60
If the games for this system ended up only being $40 that would be amazing though!
Can we just compromise at $50?

I'd be cool with $50. It'd give the Switch an edge over the competition

It definitely would, what are PS4 and Xbox one games in the US now? I know in Canada the Wii U games have moved up to $65 and $70 because the dollar has been crap lately, hoping it'll regain some speed and get the prices dropped.

I say $50 since Nintendos marketing really wants people to know its a home console regardless of what other people think it is

PS4/X1 games are $59.99 right now. And handheld games are $39.99

Maybe depending on the game? Though if the game looks like a console game, then it'll likely be 50-60 USDs.
