Yeah was kinda thinking this alright, for those very vocal people who claim that 4k blu ray is the only way to watch UHD media... they are very much clearly in the minority today.

I've watched some of his movies and enjoyed them enough to get through to the end. Not great but not unwatchable most of the time. Others are awful and stopped shortly after starting. He has given me some entertainment so fair dues to him.

It is not the only way to watch UHD media. But it's the method with the best quality.

Netflix 4k bitrate is 15-18mbps, while UHDBR is up to 108mbps. That's quite a gap in quality.

Betamax was also higher quality than VHS though. It doesn't matter what quality the product is if it isn't how the customer wants to consume the media.

I am not arguing that.

My only access to 4K content right now is through youtube and Netflix. And even on those, I think the picture quality is quite a step above regular BR. I can only imagine how amazing the picture quality is on UHDBR.
