It fell by a further 4.9% today for a total of 15% since the Switch was announced.

Hmm, and no one makes news about it, strange.

But if it's up some 2-3%, hooo boy! Nintendomination!

Lol the opposite... Stop parroting that myth! Look the article above  and  search the news! Also, we got 4 threads here about the drop! Get serious!

There is no such a thing of Nintendo favoritism on media! In many articles  the positive side of the Q2 is ignored and the negative is being dramatized! Spitefulness at its biggest.

As for the insinuation in the last sentence, who lives in a glass house shouldn't throw stones! As only Nintendo fanbase is exulting when there are positive news for their preferred game company...

PlayStation dominance guaranteed?

playstation is dominating already, isn't that enough for their fans?

It is improbable that another competitor will have clout such as the PlayStation namebrand at this time.  But hopefully, the Switch will have such a present and not ignored as Nintendo was last generation when comapring consoles.  Last generation, the PS3 and Xbox 360 were typically part of the conversation while Nintendo was left out.  Hopefully, this will not be the case this time around.

Shares will rise once Nintendo announce the NS can make phone calls and text.

I'll be happy if the switch is a cultural phenomenon. I'm not asking much right? :P

Who the fuck knows what these sony acolytes want? I know one thing: They won't find it in gaming. They probably find it someplace far away, like in a disease infested jungle or antartica or some other forsaken place.

Nintendo was a cultural phenomenon.  But as I said, not probable at this time.  The closest Nintendo did that again was with the Wii.  So as long as they stay in the game (and I don't see why they wouldn't), you never know in future generations.

I think super mario run will be a cultural phenomenon, It's mario so it's not difficult.

I don't really think Switch is going to be in that conversation. PS/XBox fans are not suddenly going to start talking about it. It is a portable game machine, I mean Nintendo can market it and say it is for whatever reason (most namely that I think they still want to sell some 3DS units for a while longer thanks to the Pokemon Go boost and at $250-$300 most likely Switch is quite expensive for a portable).

It would need to have exact graphics parity or more likely graphics *superiority* (it is after all coming late) and equal better versions of things like Red Dead 2, GTA V/VI, Mass Effect ... I'm not sure if its even getting a lot of these games at all. It will probably be like the Wii U where it gets some (COD, Ass Creed, Batman) while missing others (GTA, BioShock, NHL, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy).

that depends on the games, if we see games like beyond good and evil, and more exclusives like bayonetta and xenoblade, gamers are going to talk about it. Even if they say "why is this on a nintendo console wahh wahhh"

I have a question:
I know that Nintendo posted a operatin loss. But wasnt the net thing PROFIT?
