and I hope their inside-out tracking proofs to be as robust as for example the vives laser-based tracking

It has an RX 470.... I'm amazed that can apparently do VR, it certainly won't do it well for long...
The CPU is awful too... FX-4350..... :|
I would be interested in an ASUS Headset without the need for external sensors.

Agreed from a hardware standpoint. Buying VR to me is like buying another console, and the support for VR is not the same as a conventional console.
