How many professional websites do you see with people's birthdays plastered across the front page? NPD? Nintendo? Sony? Microsoft? It just doesn't go with a professional image. This site suffers from a lack of credibility and ioi is addressing that by improving things. This would be a step backwards.

Then to keep a professional image, what if instead of having it on the front page, all members receive a daily VGC private message stating the date, News for members only and a list of birthday Usernames.

Why don't put a "Birthday" in red below the user name?
If we get a list like this one, people probably will still create threads like "It's someone's birthday, congratulations someone!", won't they?

You guys overreact, I was just trying to make a point, there are a lot of threads saying its my birthday, so a feature for it would be better.

I dont think that would happen if each username on the Bday list was a direct link to his or her profiles so you can put "happy birthday" on there walls.
