You can make Wii U game without double-screen, motion control and 3D effect. This is traditional gaming console with traditional controllers. Not some Frankenstein monster.

I see zero reasons for developers to be excited about Switch. Except money from N.

By the same logic, you can make traditional games on the Switch. If they work on the TV screen, they will work on the tablet, it's just configuring two diferent settings (TV mode and tablet mode with smaller resolution). That is traditional gaming too. And devs will find the Switch as the only modern console that can play their games on the go, which can be a really big selling point for some games.

Of course you can. And what's the point to switch from Wii U to the Switch? Is it more powerful? Doubtful. Is it have a better name? Doubtful?

Either most of these guys are still under NDA or just had very little to say. I'm not sure if this is good sign or not.

>Switch is definitely way more interesting than WiiU,

Nope, it's not.

>main difference is of course that you can play whenever you want

But Nintendo said that Switch "a home gaming system first and foremost". Your point is invalid.

>Skyrim is Skyrim Remaster,

And it's not even confirmed for Switch. Well done, Ninty! Bravo.

Ofcourse it is, just look reactions on Switch, Switch seems very cool and interesting, something totaly new and difrent on market.

You did look Switch trailer, right!? Switch in trailer is more used on go than at home.

Almost nothing yet is confirmed or announced for Switch despite all confirmed partnership and support for Switch, its obvious Nintendo is holding all announcements for full Switch reveal.

Switch is definitely more powerful than Wii U (its assumed around 3x more powerful) and definitely has much better name that doesn't make any confusion.

Why are there non-devs on that logo picture?

Yeah, I looked and saw tons of idiots, who hyped by that thing without clear reasons.

Smells like Wii U in 2012. Oh wait...

Source? I believe it's slightly powerful than Wii U, not more.

So Skyrim and NBA 2K17 is not confirmed for the Switch then?

Maybe they own some licenses or software support Nintendo wants on the Switch. Just like Unity and UE4.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

That's your opinion that people are hyped without reason, but fact is that people are hyped because Switch is very interesting.

Wii U actually had solid 3rd party support on launch, 3rd party start abandoning platform after terrible sales.

Switch is Tegra Pascal based, its asumed that has quad ARM A57 in combination with Tegra GPU of around 0.5TF and 4GB RAM. That's around 3x more powerful than Wii U hardware.

I'm sure they do but they probably wanted to pad this image. It would look quite a big emptier otherwise.

Every console is more powerful than its predecessor. The Switch will be definitively more powerful than the WiiU (and wayyyyy more powerful than the 3DS), there is no reason for Nintendo to not do that. You shouldn't be worried about the handheld part, mobile chips have become more and more powerful with time. Even if its performance is around the XBOne, it would still have enough muscle in it to play multiplats well enough, if the companies want to provide them.
