This is the Wii's biggest flaw in my opinion, the lack of truly great fps games with great online possibilities. I'm talking about games like the Halo series, CoD 4, Killzone and so on..

This is very sad because the wii-mote is almost perfect for fps games, Metroid 3 & MoH2;heroes proves that, it truly feels great to control these games.

What do you think are the chances to see such games on Wii? Let's say in 2 years, do we have a "halo wii" then?

Well it took me a good amount of playtime to really love the wii-mote control.(mp3)

Now it doesn't feel good to sit down and play with dual analog controls, it's ok at best.

Give it a year, third parties are in the process of developing AAA tittles for the Wii, having been caught off-guard and all, you'll see. And trust me, they WILL be good!

Um timesplitters might be it.

Free Radical's David Doak has described Wii development in general as "a good thing to do" and followed that up with "I think we want to put it [TimeSplitters 4] on the Wii", in an interview with Game Informer.

"I'm sure it's possible to do a control scheme that works," Doak added when asked about his thoughts on developing a first-person shooter for Wii.[3]

Otherwise, Red steel II

Halo won't come to the Wii but some big fps's will come when everyone gets that Wii a doesn't have to be a mini game collections to sell well.

Soon, FPS on the Wii will equal the FPS on other consoles, if not out perform them. (At least hopefully) MP:3 has the best damn controls for any FPS game I've ever played!

Controlwise it WILL out perform the other console, no doubt about it!
