3DS getting Monster Hunter a huge blow to Sony's portable gaming relevance and its the most popular platform there.

BTW consoles are still popular in Japan.  The ps4 sells Japan like numbers in the UK,  France,  Germany etc.  We wouldn't say consoles aren't popular in those other nations. 

Those countries are less than half the size of Japan (in population, ie. potential customers), so only selling around that level doesn`t exactly make Japan look good.

For Kerotan it doesn't need to be good to be called good =p.

Wii U was a blunder. Switch seems to be getting it right.

I always said myself MH Nintendo deal is what killed the vita.  

 

However the ps4 is a Home console and it will sell to 8m+ homes in Japan.  Another portable device that can be plugged to thr TV ain't changing that.  

 

The vita could play all ps4 titles remotely.  Nobody cared.

Agreed. I have little doubt that it is going to do gangbusters in Japan. In fact, I think it could do very well WW, I'm just not sold on it yet for what I wanted personally. But I am slowly warming up to it and if the games are great then I'm sure I'll get excited.

Yeah the vita can play really powerful ps4 games but if the ps4 was to go mobile it would be a lot weaker. Obviously it will impact it.  But it will still sell 8m+!

What a strange response. If PS4 were to go mobile... it would be weaker. I don't think that would be a PS4. If PS4 went portable, it needs to be a PS4.

I already stated multiple times it doesn't.  Hence why it would be stupid for Sony to do anything other than what they're doing now.  Which is dominating the console market.
