Agreed. Unless Nintendo royally fucks up for some reason, I don't see why it won't dominate in Japan considering how successful the 3ds is and how handheld centric Japan is.

This is going to get so much japanese support. Just imagine playing a FFXV on the go, how big would that be. Or a Persona 5 on the go. Or any other big JRPG there.
