Forums - Nintendo - Nvidia says they are powering the Switch

Damn, I was wrong. Skyrim and Zelda did appear to be running a bit off. Sorta like running on Unreal....but it looks like it can't handle it that well. So I'm thinking Tegra X1 then.

Hold that loss AMD theorists. Hold it nice and long.

I guess AMD finally lost out. Nvidia probably didn't want AMD to have the console market on lockdown.

Eurogamer is doing pretty damn well for console rumors and specs this year, with PRO and now Switch.

Curiously it says they used some kind of custom GeForce GPU so another propriety like the Wii U.

Could AMD be powering the home console mode though?

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

So what's the problem with NVidia powering the Switch (I miss the NX name already)? Their Shield tech is proven already, so that combined with Nintendo's knowledge of the handheld market should work well.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
