In both worlds I would say people who say "I know about (subject) because my mate did a degree in it" or whatever.

That really pisses me off, I just feel like screaming and saying...

"you don't know anything about it, your friends knows about it, I don't care if they told you something down the pub!!!! did they tell you the entire contents of their 5 year medicine degree in 20 minutes over a pint???"

I don't say that I have a degree in physics because I watched a documentary about Stephen Hawking. So don't say you know anything because your friends do it.

That's what really annoys me more than anything else.

the attitude that I hate is people who would rather bitch about someone that corrected them, than change what it is they were corrected about. The type that are more concerned about their image than about being right, and that think Truth can somehow be changed based on what people think.
