Its the end. Life will never be the same. I bet they will sell their IPs to MS. |

I'm afraid it's already too late to get worried.

But at least they will have Red Dead Redemption 2 on the NX. XD

The lack of solid information usually promps to assumptions. But in this case, I would say Nintendo is more to blame, simply becuase we know the NX exists for more than a year, and we still only know rumours.
Nintendo is a terrific game maker, but as a company, I hate to say it but they really, really suck quite often.
The way they've handled this entire NX thing is a disgrace and I hope the entire thing is leaked by some Foxconn worker ruining whatever unveil they have planned.
Great game designers, incompetent business suits.
wow. What the hell could possible be so big that it is preventing Nintendo from revealing the NX? I'm sure there is unfinished software and tweaking to be had. That is normal in product launches. But that should not prevent a reveal with some name dropping, carefully planned demos, etc.
Plus, now the "revealed in Fall" from E3 has turned into "NX info by end of year"?

I guess it's the timing. The announcement of NX over a year ago caught some off guard in thinking why so soon. Despite the fact that the reason why they announced it was to reassure those that thought of the end of console making Nintendo due to the announcement of mobile during the same conference back in March 2015. It's unfortunate that the Wii U couldn't give them a little more momentum and time that led to all this unfolding starting with the partnership with DeNA. Then with Iwata'a death and the restructuring of leadership, things didn't simply go back to operation so soon. Then again, they did say they'll talk about more this year so it doesn't mean ruling out December or November. We'll just have to see.
Isn't it funny how console and PC differ? If you're a PC part manufacturer you are yelled at if you "paper launch" by showing the product and specs but release to market months later. If you're a console builder people almost want the info on the next console when the previous one isn't even in the shop yet.
Guys, the succes or failure doesn't depend on the moment of announcement or reveal. They could show it as late as 1 month in advance and it would make no difference to if it fails or not.
People in the market for a console will not opt to NOT buy a PS4/XBOne because info about the NX is available or not. It's the holidays. They'll buy the crap they want at THAT moment. Nobody will go, here is an IOU till March. The launch date is too far back from the holidays for that.
The concept and announcement and list of titles will make you buy it or not. Not some arbitrary date at which you should have revealed anything.
Edit: fixed language.
