Forums - Nintendo - 6 Nintendo Games with Bad Titles

Pokemon X and Y

There's some sense behind this. Those games were the first Pokemon games on the 3DS. Now if they kept their tradition and released a third iteration like they usually do, they would have named that Pokemon Z and then you would have X, Y and Z which would stand for the X axis, Y axis and Z axis and those are the three dimensions in a 3-dimensional space. Full circle.

Not Nintendo developed but still Nintendo-exclusive games:

Quest 64

I always thought there were 63 quests already tackled by the time you start playing. Seriously wtf is this title.

Fifa 64 is worse. The game wasn't in black and white nor you could play as Di Stafano's, Puskas' and co. Madrid either. And people wonder why Fifa don't sell on Nintendo.

Is that a porn game? On DS? :O

It wasn't outright porn, though it had its fair share of innuendo. It's also a very fun game to play, honestly.

I just saw a video on youtube and geez. Worst N64 game?

Despite being a long time fan of the series, I never knew that was what Thracia 776 stood for. That actually is pretty cool and makes sense given its interquel status with the game before it. Your points are valid but as a fan, I am cool with that name.

Personally, I think Smash for Wii U/3DS is stupid, especially given they could have just called it Smash 4.

Never knew there was a Startropics II.....

How about Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3

I've always hated Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. I mean why even do a crossover if you aren't gonna get any of the (albeit limited) brand recognition of Shin Megami Tensei or Fire Emblem in there? And no, FE doesn't count as having Fire Emblem in there and neither does Tokyo Mirage Sessions abbrivating to TMS or SMT backwards.

Delicious, delicious games.

Its on the VC for Wii U. I enjoyed the series.

Wait... you don't get why a game about crap falling out of the sky may be called Avalanche?
